Omar arrived promptly and was a total professional from start to finish. He fitted a brand-new radiator for us, which required some tricky adjustments to the existing pipework. His attention to detail was fantastic—the new setup looks incredibly neat and functions perfectly.
In addition to that, he removed our old bathroom radiator and replaced it with a sleek new towel radiator. It has completely transformed the look of the room! Omar worked efficiently, was extremely respectful of our home, and left everything spotless once the job was done.

Great service from the initial phone call onwards. I particularly liked that my appointment was confirmed by text with another text sent nearer the time estimating how many minutes before Omar arrived enabling me to shut my dogs away prior to his arrival. Rang around a few places and Michelle was the only one to proactively try to get me booked in, despite ActFast being booked pretty solid. (Others simply told me they were booked up and to look elsewhere, if they got back to me at all.)

Got booked in for 2 days time. Comms on the day were great, with Michelle checking in on when I could expect the engineer.
Omar himself was great. Communicated proactively, and wasn't afraid to hold me accountable on where I'd been dropping the ball with maintenance. Gave plenty of great tips, and charged very honestly for what turned out to be a simple problem.
Overall, great experience, and will be using ActFast going forward for servicing and anything else that comes up.

Salutation if you want professionalism and honesty look no further. Act Fast just as the name suggests not only did he resolve the boiler issue but infomed and showed me why it happened which gives me the info to undertake domestic maintenance prolonging the boilers life.He took me through the manual explaining why the part is needed. Engaged Act Fast Solutions Ltd for installing a 2 ton (7.1 kw) Diakin AC after having a detailed technical discussion with its owner Omar, who appeared highly professional, possessing sound technical knowledge and vast relevant experience. His 3-member team (led by himself) arrived on time and completed the job very professionally, complying to relevant standards and work practices, while operating within the given space/ routing constraints at the site. I have a 25-year-old heating system and wanted to bring it up to a modern standard, have it serviced and have confidence it would remain reliable.
My first problem was how to locate someone I could rely on and trust. I went onto Which Trusted Trader and selected Omar as both local and with a high reviews rating.
Omar came out to survey the system and provide his recommendations, clearly explaining why he recommended each element of work as well as why he would not recommend other aspects of work as unnecessary.
I was left feeling it safe to engage Omar and did not seek other quotes – and what a good decision that was!
The scope of work included replacing 3 radiators and all old thermostatic radiator valves, the heating pump, 3-port valve and a shower pump. Also included was a chemical and power flush of the system, installation of a magnetic filter, and a full strip down service of the boiler. Also included was the replacement of various gate valves with ball valves.
Omar carried out all the work to a high standard, being professionally competent, conscientious and thorough in his work, almost obsessively so. On the first day he started at 8:15am and did not leave until 7:30pm to ensure he left us with water overnight.

Would I use Omar again – absolutely, without hesitation.

I couldn’t be happier I called! We initially had another engineer round to help fix our boiler after the heating and hot water had gone. Omar from Actfast got our incredibly broken central heating system working again on one of the coldest weeks of the year.
The system was broken in multiple places meaning it was difficult to diagnose the issue.

We didn't have any cold water from the upstairs taps and the toilets weren't filling. Omar responded quickly to my enquiry. He was able to diagnose and fix an air lock. He was happy to take the time to talk me through how to fix it (should it happen again).

Great service from the initial phone call onwards. I particularly liked that my appointment was confirmed by text with another text sent nearer the time estimating how many minutes before Omar arrived enabling me to shut my dogs away prior to his arrival. Omar came out to survey the system and provide his recommendations, clearly explaining why he recommended each element of work as well as why he would not recommend other aspects of work as unnecessary.
I was left feeling it safe to engage Omar and did not seek other quotes – and what a good decision that was!

Also included was a chemical and power flush of the system, installation of a magnetic filter, and a full strip down service of the boiler. I couldn’t be happier I called! We initially had another engineer round to help fix our boiler after the heating and hot water had gone. After multiple visits and hours trying to diagnose the problem they told us we needed a power flush and probably a new boiler which would have cost thousands. Omar is a true professional in his field and is very methodical in his approach to the work. We had a pump change, radiator thermostats fitted and the whole system flushed to clean out the years of debris and sludge. Clear, precise and courteous.

Omar from ActFast Solutions fixed a complex problem with our boiler due to a manufacturer fault but we were just out of warranty. Omar from Actfast got our incredibly broken central heating system working again on one of the coldest weeks of the year.

We didn't have any cold water from the upstairs taps and the toilets weren't filling. Omar responded quickly to my enquiry. He was able to diagnose and fix an air lock. He was happy to take the time to talk me through how to fix it (should it happen again).
